Recently, Madrid has reached an agreement to carry out an impressive complex of casinos and hotels on the outskirts of the city. However, the agreement between Madrid and the North American businessman Sheldon Adelson to build Eurovegas has also generated the announcement by the Generalitat de Catalunya and an investment group to build what would become its competition near Tarragona, Barcelona World. This casino has an area of 166,420 square meters and nothing less than 3,000 gaming machines, 870 betting and poker tables and 24 restaurants and bars. Also, its hotels have 3,000 rooms.

Opened in 2009, it is one of the most important gaming centers in Asia.
Due to its size, it is the second-largest casino in the world. It is also located in Macau. It has been open to the public only 3 years ago and about 2.1 billion dollars were invested in it by the Melco Crown Entertainment Gamble company of the Australian billionaire James Packer. The Foxwood Resort Casino is the largest casino in the US.
This is the largest casino in the United States and it is not in Las Vegas. It was opened in 1986 outside of Connecticut. The Foxwood Resort is a complex of six casinos with 17 different types of table games including 100 poker tables. Also, it is the casino with the largest bingo room in the world.
Its location is perfect as it is located between New York and Boston. It is run by the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Tribu group, with a great tradition in the management of casinos in this country.
It has an area of about 100,000 square meters, 7,000 gaming machines, 400 betting tables, 29 restaurants and 824 hotel rooms.
- Lisbon Casino, Portugal
The Lisbon Casino is the largest in Europe.
It is the largest casino in Europe, even more than the ones in Monte Carlo. It is located in the Parque de las Naciones in Lisbon, and opened in 2006 – it may not yet have world fame but it is one of the great ones in the world. It has 50,000 square meters, 26 betting tables, 7 restaurants, 1,000 gaming machines and nearly 1,000 hotel rooms.
